The president of the Central Chihuahua Regional Economic Development Council (CODER by its initials in Spanish), Jorge Cruz Camberos, and the champion of the Chihuahua Capital city brand, David Madero Amarante, have held meetings with representatives of Chihuahua’s organizations to publicize the re-launch of the Chihuahua Capital city brand, as well as to sign agreements with institutions that will collaborate as ambassadors to promote its dissemination. The representatives of Index Chihuahua, Coparmex Chihuahua and Dorados del Estado de Chihuahua have signed a collaboration agreement to serve as brand ambassadors. A city brand consists mainly of the adaptation and application of the corporate brand concept to the management of the city's image. The brand of Chihuahua Capital has been promoted since 2019 and with its reactivation, after passing the critical stage of the pandemic, it is intended that Chihuahua citizens adopt it and include it in their promotion, as well as differentiate the homonymous capital of the state of Chihuahua, even when working closely with it. Through a well-defined communication strategy, the Chihuahua Capital brand is intended to help increase the sense of belonging of citizens, boost the economy and also project trust, credibility and reputation, not only to companies, but to the city in general, promoting itself in various sectors such as entrepreneurship, gastronomy, sports, tourism, culture, among others.
