Microsoft and Chihuahua sign agreement to invest in digital technology

Microsoft and Chihuahua State Government signed a collaboration agreement called the Chihuahua Digital Pioneer Strategic Alliance, with which it is intended to make significant investments in digital technology. This strategic alliance will focus on investments for the implementation of digital platforms directed with Microsoft's cyber cloud, to streamline the operations and administration of companies, regardless of their size, likewise, people will be trained for the management of these technologies, which will allow having the trained personnel required for its implementation; all of this will lead Chihuahua, its industry and its companies, to make their way into global competitiveness. The investment that Microsoft will make is USD 1.1 billion throughout Mexico, but it is Chihuahua, the first federal entity to sign this agreement, so the first efforts will be made in this state. Enrique Perezyera, CEO of Microsoft Mexico, celebrated the opening of the Government of the State of Chihuahua, to seek continuous improvement with this type of agreements, which will allow us to see great results in the short term. He stressed that, with these actions, jobs and well-paid companies will be generated for all Chihuahua citizens and for all Mexicans, and he announced that the investment will seek to transform education in the country, and create an infrastructure of data centers, since the global trend has revealed that the cloud is the future of all industries. He emphasized that the signing of this agreement with the state of Chihuahua is a model that must be followed by the rest of the states in this country.
