Chihuahua ranks first place in Mexico in the use of international relations

The Ministry of Innovation and Economic Development (SIDE by its initials in Spanish) announced that the State of Chihuahua is positioned first at the national level in terms of taking advantage of international relations, first place in merchandise exports and fifth in job training and average income of full-time workers. The foregoing, according to statistical data from the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO by its initials in Spanish) presented in the "State Competitiveness Index 2022"; This indicator measures the capacity of states to generate, attract and retain talent and investments. According to the IMCO, a competitive state is one that is consistently attractive to talent and investment, which translates into greater productivity and well-being for its inhabitants. This year, the International Relations sub-index is headed by Chihuahua, followed by Coahuila, Aguascalientes, Baja California and Tamaulipas, a position that places this entity with 58.03% in the utilization index, which far exceeds the national average, which is 23.88, placing Chihuahua economically above important states such as Nuevo León and Mexico City. Currently, the GDP per capita of Chihuahua is 201,877 pesos, and the percentage of talent is 25%, a figure that reflects the number of graduates with professional training.
